Location: Scotland & North England- Central Belt Based
Package: Basic £35,000 - £37,000; OTE £47000; VW Passat (or similar); 23 days holidays plus 8 stats; contributory pension scheme (MAX 7.5%)

Our client is a worldwide market leader who design, manufacture and distribute technical products into the construction market place, this role has come about through internal promotion.

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to fill this role within the construction industry. As Area Sales manager you will be responsible for selling and building long-term relationships with a network of specialist distributors and builders merchants.

Ideally you'll be selling products into the construction industry and have contacts within the National and Independent Builders Merchants. You must have experience of selling a specific product or perhaps you're currently working in a builders merchant and looking to make the jump across to working for a manufacturer. You will have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate an organised approach along with the confidence to negotiate and close contracts whilst developing, building and maintaining excellent client relationships.

This role is an exciting opportunity and could offer you the career development and progression into Key Accounts or even Sales Management.
