Our client: is a successful market leader within the Builders Merchant market and due to expansion, has a vacancy for a Branch Sales Manager to be based in their flagship Branch. This branch specialises in Civils products with a focus on the Utilities market sector.
You will be involved in and oversee all aspects of running a branch. These include P&L responsibility, leading the branch team approx 13, staff training & performance, personnel issues, stock management and all other responsibilities you would expect with running a branch as a self contained business unit.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
As a forward thinking company, our client is keen to attract high calibre candidates capable of not only fulfilling this role but who show the potential to move forward with the organisation into more senior roles in future. You'll have Utilities background or at the very least be familiar with Civils market sector.
You may be a branch manager or even an assistant manager in a Builders merchant or within the wider construction trade either way we'd like to hear from you. In any case, you must be able to demonstrate a solid track record in managing a cost centre with all of the day-to-day responsibilities listed above.
