My client, a leading luxury interiors brand, is seeking an exceptional commercially minded Managing Director to drive their continued growth and success in the high-end market. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make their mark in a business renowned for their quality and service.

Position Overview

As the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for this prestigious interiors brand. You will oversee the showrooms and sales teams, setting ambitious targets and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives. Your vision and leadership will be instrumental in developing and growing the brand’s offerings across kitchens, interiors, and bathrooms, solidifying their position as a frontrunner in the luxury market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and market trends
  • Oversee the showroom and sales teams, setting performance targets and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion initiatives
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team
  • Uphold and enhance the brand’s reputation in the luxury market through strategic marketing and PR initiatives
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, integrating them into the business strategy

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a leadership role within luxury retail, kitchen, home design, or construction industries
  • Strong background in managing sales and customer relationships
  • Proven track record of growing sales and improving performance
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong sales and business development capabilities, particularly within the industry
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with clients and key stakeholders
